URGENT! Please pray~

MA's family is contesting guardianship. Court will be July 26th at 9:30 a.m. They want to take MA away from us.
MA does not want to leave. How can they be so cruel to MA, we are all she's known for 26 years.
Our daughter Grace is her guardian now- they did not contest that in 2009.
She's not going to live much longer. Especially if she leaves.
(this was MA her last day at the hospital after Tom told her we'd take her home)

  1. I will definitely pray. How awful they would want to do this to her after all the time she has been with you. Praying.

  2. We went to court against the family of a child who contested our application for guardianship last summer. What I would say is, make sure the court knows that Ma's wish is to stay with you, that it has been a stable environment for her for (however many) years, that you can and do properly care for her, and that, this is important, you don't want to maintain guardianship as any sort of vindictive thing towards the family, but in what you truly believe is her best interest. The courts have a duty to protect a person's best interest, but family goes a long way. Is there any way she can give a statement (even a simple one) to the judge or magistrate stating her wishes and that she's happy and cared for where she is? If A had been older when we went to court, they would've considered her wishes... I so wish that had been the case.

  6. So sad. Where have they been for the last 20 plus years? I hope that the judge can see how happy she is and let her spend her last years in the home she has always known. praying. Lisa L.

  7. UGh!!!! Why? Why would someone do this? When she has been with you so long, and they've never contested before, why NOW??? (not that I want you to answer, I'm just asking in frustration!) We are praying for you through this!

  9. Boy, you must be doing something right, for the kingdom of God, to have these many attacks against your family lately. satan is not happy. I will continue to pray for you and add this specifically. Keep up your faith you are not alone. Many around the world love you and are praying.

    2Co 4:8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
    2Co 4:9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
    2Co 4:10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
    2Co 4:11 For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.
    2Co 4:12 So then death worketh in us, but life in you.
    2Co 4:13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
    2Co 4:14 Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.
