More delays- :o(

Today Tom got a letter. His finger prints were not accepted by Immigration.

He'll drive down (70 miles one way on) Monday, the new appt. is for Feb 1rst but we can't wait that long. Our boys can't wait that long.

We can't help but wonder, will there be any more finger print rejections? Tom's were fine last year! Are any of the other 5 of us be rejected one at a time through the mail now? ugh.

Just yesterday I was having a bad feeling about all of this. I know- God's timing, but these boys are in a bad place.
Pauly has surgery on Tuesday. We did not need this.

  1. I'm so sorry to hear that. Praying that no more letters of bad news will come!

  2. Like so many in your blog circle have written, as they adopt these special children, it seems the evil one will do anything to stop the children from being placed in loving, godly families. I know you must be on pins and needles, hoping the other prints clear. I will continue praying for God's immeasurable help for you all!
Praying for Pauly's surgery to go as planned and recovery to be swift. Poor baby. Poor Mama & Daddy. Love to all of you.

  3. God has not forgotten you or your boys! I know the repeated appointments and waiting must be very difficult. However during this season, Julius and Pauly will have more time to grow and bond with your family before the next transition.
    Love, Heather

  4. It is just so awful!! Other countries wanting to run background checks on the folks who will be living in the same house as one of their most vulnerable citizens (a kid with special needs)!! I mean, who cares if a child with disabilities gets hurt by a parent or sibling or housemate!! Damn Ukraine (Russia? Bulgaria??) for wanting to screen PAPs and siblings if it delays getting the adopted child home!!! Sooo much better that a vulnerable child gets molested (masha Allen) or killed (RR's own Nicolai Emenseylev, Nina hilt, chase Harrison) if they get out of that orphanage faster!!!

  5. I am sorry you had to deal with the ugly remarks from Kaylee. I, too, work with special needs children in a public facility and I am thrilled that they want to check me out any time they want to! It is unfortunate that due to the evil of others, the good people are punished and must go through these trying times to pay for what the bad guys did. These babies are worth whatever it takes to get them home to a safe, loving place. May God bless you as you continue on your journey.
