August 24th................hit the ground running!

On August 24th we have our first home study visit for our 3 love bugs- Noah, Moses and Jacob. It will also be our first post placement visit for Julius & Paul! (MN mandate) We've already started preparing documents for the updated homestudy! Our FBI- done! Physicals- 5 down, 7 to go! Our John Walsh fingerprints were already updated. Police reports will be done next week.

Only 2 weeks till Tom and Matthew leave to pick up Julius & Paul and I am freaking out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How do we pack!! Thank goodness we'll know how to pack when we pick up Noah, Moses and Jacob!
Tom is becoming an airplane itinerary expert! :o)
Oh- how I wish I was going.

Oh! I hope!!

Another family is traveling to see their daughter in Bulgaria- first trip. The same week Tom is picking up Julius & Paul.

I think our Noah's crib is near their daughter. I am praying that they can either tell us something about how the boys are and maybe even take a picture of our boys for us!! They got us the updated photos of Noah and Moses.

It would be a blessing from God to see how the boys are!! :o)

But then they may be too busy. But even if they can just give any of our boys a (((HUG))), or a smile, that would be great!!

A new Family Support page!!

We have a new family support page!!

The photos of Noah (Steward- held up) 8yrs and Moses' head shot are older. We put newer on the side of this blog. We don't have a newer photo of Jacob (Teddy). (Moses & Jacob 6 years.)

Please if you feel led to help any of these 3 boys with Down Syndrome who are much more physically in need get home to us and avoid dying alone in an institution- please donate a tax deductable gift to them to help pay their adoption costs. They are too fragile to go to the institution. The director has promised to keep them in the orphanage until we get there. Their orphanage is very poor, but very caring. We were blessed to be able to donate to help them at this orphanage.

We are doing back to back international adoptions, we have mortgaged everything of value to bring all 5 home! They are that worth it to us! They are priceless gifts from God!

(((HUGS))) and God Bless you all!

We raised $1,052.00 dollars on our Family Support page from some very generous kind people. Some I do not even know. How precious is that! Some who donated only met us through my blog/adoption. I thank God for crossing our paths! I love my cyber Sisters in Christ!

Paul also had $167.00 in his grant from precious people who wanted him to find a family, before we found him.

When you add this together it is only $300.00 short of what we need to pay for both boy's flight home!! How cool is that?? :o)

This helps us alot because we are already paying $3,000.00 for Tom and Matthew to fly there and back, that was over budget for us, but what can we do. Having the boy's tickets almost totally paid for is huge!

We cannot Thank all of you enough for your donations! Thank You for caring about our boys! We love you! You are all in our thoughts and prayers. God Bless you all and keep you always!

I also need to Thank a very Dear Sister and Brother in Christ who donated $1,000.00 that we used to pay for the boys Visas in March.

You know who you are! Your offer to help actually gave us the courage to ask others for help for our boys. We love you both!

I don't ever like asking for anything- I prefer to give! :o) But how can I not let those who care about these precious children not help.

Praise God! For He is faithful!

This weeks entertainment for old people :o)

We put our 2 new sons on our medical insurance! Way exciting!! Woo-Hoo! Two new(gifts) sons! Our 12th and 13th adoptions. Seventeen (gifts) from God!! Even the storm clouds here can't erase our JOY!

In the meantime; Samson has decided he needs to change his under garments each time he uses the bathroom! LOL! This is new for a guy who didn't think he ever needed to change them at all. Guys, what can I say! UGH!! They are disposable undergarments, but they aren't free!! He's throwing away up to 4 a day! He really only needs one change a day! If he really insists he needs to continue this habit, he'll have to get a job when he turns 16 in August and buy them himself. ;o) ~kidding~ I love this guy, even though he's had it with me!! LOL!!

No news still?!

We still have not heard anything. I am really anxious about this. I hope and pray our attorney is not sick.
We "feel" really nervous about what this means??!!
We are beyond frustrated. (cry)
Please Lord something? Soon.

We committed to these first 2 precious boys May 2010.(14 months ago) We committed to our next 3 boys December 2010.(6 months ago)

It has been months now, each month brings new challenges, some good some hard. Decisions like rejecting a possible group home client because we must first make sure there will be time for all of the boys. Schedule changes, Tom wanting to work part time to help pay for things. Kids moving out of the house into independence! We haven't even planned a vacation this summer. The state of MN shut down our government. We have homestudy updates, licensing visits.

When we first saw the Bulgaria program it said 9 months to 3 years. I thought "HEY!! I can do 9 months!" LOL!! Then it seemed with each piece of paper, if I hurried, if I was fast enough, we should be moving closer and faster. But we were almost standing still. And then I learned not to worry about the time. His Will be done.

I just wish we could focus on the boys and our kids only and tell the rest of the world we're busy!! We'll breathe again once they are all home safely!

no news :o(

Today, July 4th was court day for us in Bulgaria. Our Attorney was unable to attend, but sent someone she trusted to represent us.

Court was at 3:30 a.m. central time US.

It is now 10 p.m. in Bulgaria. I e-mailed our attorney this a.m. I have heard nothing all day.

(thanks! Jennifer, I snagged this pic from your blog :o)

Thank you for praying! It means the world to us!
